Attendance at school is important and it is the expectation at our school that pupils should attend on every day that the school is open, unless there are exceptional circumstances which have lead to an absence being authorised.

We firmly believe that when children are in school everyday and on time, then this is reflected in good progress being made in the classroom and will give children the best opportunities to succeed and achieve in our school.

Our school day for all pupils is from 8.50am to 3.20pm (although children can arrive into classrooms from 8.35am).  

We monitor attendance on a regular basis and write to parents when attendance falls below expectations.  Parents are given attendance reports at the end of each academic year.
